Throughout the bands 46 year history, we have been fortunate to receive incredible support from our friends, volunteers and supporters.

We do however need your help to continue and progress our musical, educational and community work.

Otley Brass Association’s activities in the local community and promoting brass banding in the Wharfedale and surround area, via concerts, competitions and CD recordings, costs over £5,000 a year.

We aim to develop musical talent and engagement in brass music through rehearsals, concerts and competitions.

We also aim to draw in both young people and older individuals returning to brass music. This is achieved through our outreach activities in local schools and the community.

We also commission new work for brass bands (Chevin Chase / On Ilkley Moor) and carry out community-based work to engage new audiences in brass music.
